Spring

Spring

In Spring, the wood anemones are the first blanket to cover the woodland, followed by a carpet of stunning bluebells. In the mornings, the scent of the bluebells is quite intoxicating. It really is the best time to visit the woods.

Summer

Summer

In summer, glades of foxgloves and early summer flowers are found dotted around the cool greens of the woods. On a warm day, it is delightful to hear the birds singing whilst walking through the trail.

Autumn

Autumn

The autumn leaves are spectacular, turning all shades of gold, red, brown and yellow. Squirrels are gathering their supplies for the winter months ahead.

Winter

Winter

In winter, nature is resting, ready for the year ahead. As spring approaches, the woodlands burst into life, starting with celandines. Wrens and robins are common sightings, and our herd of deer is easier to spot through the leafless trees.
